The Founder /Chairman / Managing Director - Consulting Engineers & Contractors (Pvt) Ltd. As a professional, graduated as a BSc. Civil Engineer, from the University of Peradeniya and a Member of the Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL). I started my career soon after obtaining my Degree as a Consultant Engineer Resident Project Manager in the Northern Area, attached to Central Engineering Consultancy Bureau (CECB), in the year 1988. I was passionate to be an entrepreneur in order to do my best for my motherland and to the civil society. I had the great ambition of starting a Construction Company, which was materialized in the year 1992, by forming Consulting Engineers & Contractors (Pvt) Ltd. (CEC).
With the experience and hard work i achieved achieved CSII status from the Construction Industry Development Authority (CIDA), the highest distinction for roads and highways engineering companies in Sri Lanka. This prestigious recognition reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering superior quality in construction services. Our journey to this elite status is further solidified by our ISO 9001-2000 and ISO 9001-2008 certifications, demonstrating our focus on excellence, quality, and a customer-centric approach. As a member of the National Contractors' Association of Sri Lanka and The Institute of Engineers Sri Lanka (IESL), CEC continues to play a key role in Sri Lanka’s infrastructure development. We are currently engaged in multiple road reconstruction and rehabilitation projects, I'm so proud that the dedication to national progress and industry leadership.
